In this paper,the static and dynamic characteristics,mechanism parameter optimization and structure optimization of clamping unit of injection molding machine are researched.The main research works of this paper are as follows:(1)Multi-objective optimization study on double-toggle clamping unit of injection molding machine.The kinematic and mechanical characteristics of five-point double-toggle clamping unit were analyzed.The multi-objective optimization mathematical model was established.On the basis of comprehensive consideration of the total length,stroke ratio and the amplification of the force of the clamping unit,by using different MATLAB optimal toolbox,the optimal results of different target groups were compared.By using ADAMS,the parametric model of clamping unit was established and simulation analyses of different groups were carried out.These all provide a positive theoretical basis for the design of the clamping unit.(2)The virtual prototyping model created of the injection molding machine and verifies the optimized scheme.By using Solid Works and ADAMS to o create a virtual prototype of the clamping unit.Then the kinematic and mechanical characteristics of clamping unit were analyzed.According to the theoretical analysis and the simulation results,it show that the optimized clamping unit performance better.These all have a guiding significance to verify the optimized clamping unit.(3)Finite element analysis and topology optimization of plants of injection molding machine.The finite element analysis model of stationary platen,moving platen,and rear platen of injection molding machine are established,and the deformation and stress distribution of each platen are obtained after linear static analysis.In order to reduce the deformation and stress concentration and achieve the platen lightweight design,the platen structure is designed and improved by topology optimization.Templates were contrasted after the optimization and obtained three more optimal templates.
