Large and long thin-walled tube is mainly used for aerospace and ordnance industry, spinning forming is an important method to make the overall seamless rotary hollow parts, fundamentally eliminates discontinuities, strength reduction, brittle fracture and tensile stress concentration problems relevant to welding. With the development of spinning technology, the spinning technology gradually replaces the traditional process to the production of large and long thin-walled tube.A new spinning technology—synchronous rotary mould ring spinning technology can process large diameter and long thin-walled tube(length 8000 mm above) integrally. However, the bending deformation is caused by deadweight that leads to vibration easily and affects the quality of the tube seriously in the process of spinning, the predetermined requirements can not be achieved only by increasing the pre-tightening force of the tube, the lack of a support device for the tube. Based on the synchronous rotary mould ring spinning machine, the article designs a kind of following support device for the integral spinning forming of large diameter and long thin-walled tube.By using the finite element software Forming Simufact to simulate and analyze the spinning process of large and long thin-walled tube, the spinning stability of the tube with or without support is obtained, which lays a theoretical foundation for the design of the supporting device.Based on the known parameters, the article designs the body structure of the supporting device. The article compares the design scheme of the support device and determines the final scheme; designs the longitudinal feed servo system and transverse feed servo system; designs the support structure and the base structure.Finally, the strength and stiffness of the key components of the support device are analyzed by using the finite element software ANSYSWorkbench. The results show that the mechanical properties of the component structure meet the design requirements.
