The alkali/surfactant/polymer(ASP)flooding is an important oil displacement technology of enhanced oil recovery(EOR).The composition of the ASP flooding produced liquid is very complex,especially the interaction among chemical agent,the oil-in-water and suspended solids,which produced liquid in solid-liquid phase separated difficultly,and high viscosity containing poly produced liquid suspended solids will also affect the stability of the production site,increase on-site dredging workload and difficulty of the work.In view of the characteristics of sand containing medium for ASP flooding produced liquid,the structure optimization,pressure characteristics and separation flow field characteristics of a gas-liquid-solid three-phase cyclone separator were studied.Through the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation research method,the structure of the hydrocyclone(water flooding produced liquid separation)is improved,and the key structure parameters(length of swirl chamber,overflow pipe diameter,inner diameter of cone,cone height and overflow tube stretch length)are optimized and the operation parameters are optimized.Finally,through the experimental study the accuracy of the numerical simulation model was verified,and the optimal structure parameters and operating parameters of the separator were finally determined.Studies have proved that the gas-liquid-solid three-phase hydrocyclone has a higher separation efficiency and a lower pressure drop when it deal with ASP flooding produced liquid,and it also has a wide adaptation range in viscosity.The researches of this passage provided a certain theoretical basis and reference in further study on separation mechanism,characteristic of separation and structure design of triphase cyclone separator of liquid from ASP flooding and other high viscosity medium,and it also Provide a useful reference in structural optimization design of separator in the scene of three-phase hydrocyclone.
