Compared with the traditional gear machining,the cutter shaft of the end mill is shorter,the rigidity of the cutter is better,and the milling is more stable,and can be involved in the cutting of the cutter teeth are more,and can effectively improve the metal removal rate of blank parts.A lot of hard alloy blades are set on the cutter shaft,the cutting edge wear is slower,the tool life is long,and improve the production efficiency.Therefore,using the end milling cutter,ball milling cutter and other general milling cutters to mill the involute gears,that can gain the high surface quality and production efficiency.In this paper,the processing method of using general milling cutter to end mill the gear is studied,and this paper mainly studies the kinematics simulation and dynamic characteristics of the involute gear,and the vibration analysis is carried out,which has certain practical significance,and has laid a theoretical foundation for the practical application of this technology.This article is based on 3D modeling of involute gear,according to the Work piece material of large modulus gear and the two stage solar wheel,cutting tool material and machining process etc.to process the cutting tool path of end milling and machine tool simulation,and through the establishment of mathematical model of the tool gear to its kinematics simulation and vibration analysis.Using CATIA software to establish the 3D solid model of the large modulus and the two stage solar wheel,and based on UG software to carry out the simulation of the tool path and post processing.Using VERICUT software for virtual simulation,and the machining code verification and program optimization of the involute gear is carried out.Using ADAMS and ANSYS software to set up the virtual prototype model of rigid flexible coupling of cutter gear milling system and conduct kinematic simulation analysis based on system true motion.Using ANSYS studies modal vibration of gears,get natural frequency and vibration mode,establish the vibration system model to get the frequency response characteristics of X,Y,Z three direction and space of the tool and the work piece.Finally,conduct simulation experiment on the car milling compound machining center,verified the feasibility of using end milling tool to process the large modulus gear tooth profile and described the correctness and the implementation of the end milling method of gear tooth profile.Through the research of kinematics simulation and dynamic characteristics,and the simulation experiment can know the method of end milling of general milling cutter has good practicability,and break the processing mode of the traditional processing method,which effectively reduce the processing time and process ing costs,has the practical innovation and practical significance.
