The kilneye is one of the key parts in cement kiln. Thermal repairing technology can improve the utilization efficiency of refractory material. In this paper, hot repairing mix for the kilneye of cement rotary kiln research and development is the main content, according to the requirements of the performance of the "easy bonding and high strength, abrasion resistance, thermal shock resistance". Because repairing material and repaired objects is similar at raw material, the calcined bauxite, calcined clay, SiC, andalusite as the main raw material of repairing material system. For strength and thermal shock stability, major and minor components of kilneye repairing material were researched, from the three aspects of aggregate, matrix and binder, respectively discussed the calcined clay aggregate, SiC powder, silica sol binder. Physical properties, mechanical properties, thermal shock stability were tested, with XRD and SEM analysis of samples for the mineral phase composition and microstructure. For the characteristic of hot repairing materials easy bonding, respectively, study the bonding strength, additives effect, surface treatment with silica sol, water glass and aluminium dihydrogen phosphate for repairing subjects, according to study bonding properties of hot repairing material. Comprehensive analysis of the test data of each group showed that:?1?In this paper, the performance of hot repairing material used for the kilneye of cement kiln has basically reached the requirements of easy bonding and high strength, high abrasion resistance, strong thermal shock resistance.?2?Replacing part of calcined bauxite aggregate with calcined clay, can improve the thermal stability and mechanical shock mending material ex. Because of the difference of particle accumulation with different density, the addition of 5% can get better mechanical strength and thermal shock stability, with needed physical properties.?3?The thermal shock resistance and high mechanical strength were improved by SiC powders in the matrix of hot repairing material. Adding moderate amount SiC powders, the thermal shock resistance were improved because of the high thermal conductivity and oxidation. Mechanical strength is low when the adding amount is too large, especially in low temperature, because liquid phase is so much at sample surface that mechanical strength and the thermal shock stability decreased in high temperature. Above all, the best SiC amount is 5%?WT?.?4?The comprehensive performance of hot repairing material were improved by SiO2 sol binder. Silica sol gel surface cemented membrane properties reduce the apparent porosity, higher mullite conversion rate is greatly increased the mechanical strength and thermal shock resistance, excess silica sol bring internal porosity and the mechanical strength and thermal shock stability declined.?5?The effect of bonding repair mending material is the comprehensive effect of various factors. Silica sol with vulcanized binder performance best; with dispersing effect of sodium hexametaphosphate effect is the most obvious; the hot hardness of aluminum dihydrogen phosphate in fill section smear processing, can form a stable bond strength in the experimental temperature range?300? 800??.
