Wet acetylene represents the calcium carbide acetylene gas production method, which provides raw materials for the production of vinyl chloride and polyvinyl chloride resin, is the mainstream technology of PVC production in our country at present. In the process of producing acetylene gas, the chemical reaction requires the control of the particle size of calcium carbide in 50-80mm, which may cause the inaccurate measurement of bin, the presence of material caused in the process of the valve shell, large deviation and loss of reality in liquid level measurement equipment. Calcium carbide (CaC2) after the severe reaction of water may produce acetylene gas. If the control is not appropriate, there will be a fire, explosion or other vicious accident. Therefore, it is of great practical value to reduce the risk of the control process by developing the control program of one key type to reduce the operation steps.The automatic control system of wet acetylene one key feeding is developed in this paper. And through the system to reduce acetylene workshop personnel's labor intensity, to reduce the number of operations staff, and to ensure the safe and smooth operation of acetylene workshop for purposes. The main work is as follows:1) Wet acetylene flow characteristics and problems existing in the operation on the basis of detailed research and analysis, determine the direction of project development. The solution of the automatic control system of wet acetylene one key feeding is developed in analyzing the current movement situation of the acetylene plant.2) Based on calcium carbide silo, buffer bin, storage bucket material level meter and other hardware based optimization, to complete the one button feeding control system hardware optimization and implementation.3) Programed and concatenated the background program based on Yokogawa CS3000DCS control system to complete the design and implement ation of automatic control system software.4) Experiment and analysis:the experiments and analysis of actual production show that the automatic control system of wet acetylene one key feeding obtains the expected result.With the implementation of the automatic feeding technology, those parts of the acetylene production process ranging from the silo to generator, storage bucket to slagging operations, automatic controlcan be achieved, reducing the labor intensity and errors of control operators. The post operation personnel can monitor production in an easy and better way. In order to ensure the safety, stability, and efficiency of the acetylene workshop, the control system plays an important role. At the same time, it also plays a guiding and promoting role for the improvement of process control and provides the corresponding technical support.
