Teetered bed separator is the main equipment in coarse slime separation, it has high efficiency, low power consumption, high automation.However, for refractory coarse slime, it’s not easy because of the more intermediate density material. Based on this, this paper introduced the new Three-products teetered bed separator and studied the influence factors and the separation effect.In this paper, it gave the summary of the hindered settling hydraulic classifier and separator,as well as their application.It analyzed their structure optimization directions. Using the above information to provide a basis for Three-products teetered bed separator structure design.The design of Three-products teetered bed separator was carried out by comparative analysis and fluid simulation. By comparative analysis of separation scheme and anti shock device, conduct fluid simulation of the water supply structure, separation chamber diameter and height and underflow diameter by Fluent. Through comprehensive analysis, the ultimately subject structure of Three-products teetered bed separator was determined.The orthogonal design was carried out with the help of Design-expert, with the feeding rate and the upward water flow as the main study variables, determined the main factors of affecting the separation effect was upward flow through the separation experiment.With the variables of the inner cylinder flow and the outer cylinder flow, determined that the inner cylinder flow mainly influence the yield and ash content of the first stage underflow and the second stage underflow, the outer cylinder flow mainly influence the yield and ash content of the outflow and the ash content of second stage underflow. When the inner cylinder flow was 1.8cm3/h and the outer cylinder flow was 2.0cm3/h,the outflow yield was 53.53%,the ash content was10.24%;stage one underflow yield was 21.66%,the ash content was 69.98%;stage two underflow yield was 24.81%,the ash content was 32.97%;the recovery of combustible was 90.86%,it reached the best separation effect.
