Development Of Straight Wire-drawing Machine System Based On Absolute Encoder And AC Servo Controlling

As metal wire is in great demand, drawing machine is widely used in the steel wire, cables and cords, and metal building industry, which is unshakable in the metal wire manufacturing industry. With the development of the drawing machine, straight wiredrawing machine is becoming mainstream of multi channel wire-drawings because of their strength in speed, quality, and operation, but the linkage control of multi-motor and AC driving for main driver is the crucial problem for the straight wiredrawing machine to be solved. So it is of great significance to realize high speed, high precision and high stability of straight wiredrawing machine in main driver control. This paper studies the principle of straight wiredrawing machine and the AC servo control method theoretically, then clarifies the working principle of the absolute encoder, proposes the AC servo control method based on the absolute encoder, develops the straight wiredrawing machine system based on the absolute encoder and AC servo control method, and the experiment is carried out. The specific work is as follows.Firstly, the latest development and research of the main drive control for the straight wiredrawing machine, and the absolute encoder applying to the straight wiredrawing machine with AC servo control are summarized. Secondly, the control scheme of the straight wiredrawing machine based on the absolute encoder and AC servo control is proposed, the structure of the straight wiredrawing machine system is built. Then the principle and communication protocol of the absolute encoder is studied and analyzed, an encoder pinboard of the absolute encoder interface is designed based on the constructed AC servo vector control, and the absolute encoder application in the AC servo control of main driver is discussed. Finally, the straight wiredrawing machine system on the basis of AC servo control by absolute encoder is discussed, the key hardware modules are given, the standard installation principle of the driven equipment is given out, the PLC component and the software of AC servo control are designed, and the experiments are implemented.Experimental results show that: the control stability of the designed straight wiredrawing machine system is more than 98.20%, and the speed control precision is over 99.00%; when the diameter of the round aluminum running wire for the straight wiredrawing machine system is in the range of 9.5mm to 12 mm, the outlet diameter can reach the specified range of 1.8mm to 5mm, which has met the performance requirement of cooperative enterprise; the developed straight wiredrawing machine system has been put into application by the cooperation company, the high stability and reliability of the straight wiredrawing machine system are verified.
