Oil is an essential kind of fossil energy. Most of the oil resources are buried in places with extremely severe conditions such as mountainous areas, swa mps, deserts and seabed. The feature leads to great difficulties to explorations. In order to collect and manage all sorts of data generated during the drilling process and reflects the operation in time, there are parameter instruments which is highly automatic and utilizes excellent information technology. Besides, it can assist the operators to release more safe and effective drilling process. However, most of the well site drilling parameters monitoring systems are based on wired acquisition, which is limited, to some extent, in terms of flexibility and extensibility. The thesis tries to analyze on the parameter monitoring system of drilling process and wireless data collection technology. It focuses on the solutions to problems such as transportation inconvenience, problems brought by frequent moving and the overwork for the laborers. It has discussed the parameter monitoring system based on wireless sensor for drilling process.The layout of the thesis is as follows. Firstly, it suggests a general plan for the parameter monitoring system based on wireless sensor for drilling process. It comes from the current condition of domestic and abroad drilling parameter instrument and the status quo of wireless data collection technology.Afterwards, it analyzes further on key technologies such as technology based on wireless sensor data acquisition, technology based on RS-485 bus data acquisition and wireless sensor data collecting method with a energy-efficient purpose. To cater for the demand for the accuracy, stability and flexibility for well site drilling, the thesis proposes a hybrid data collecting method. Its feature derives from the characteristics of wireless data collecting technology and the wired one. Besides, it can meet the demand of diversity. Based on the analysis of wireless sensor processing, the thesis tries to propose a data collecting method with energy-efficient feature. Besides, it can effectively enhance the durability of batteries and reduce the labor consumption of the well sites maintenance staff.Finally, based on the above-mentioned research on the relevant key technologies, it develops a drilling parameter monitoring system based on wireless sensor. After meticulous adjusting and modification, the system has been applied in practical engineering process. Field application also proves that it can satisfy the diversified demands of oil drilling sites, efficiently enhance drilling productivity, reducing the cost for installation and the labor intensity of staff in fields.
