In the process of carrying out a project,the project management system is composed of five elements,that is,organization structure,scope of Works,project schedule,its quality,and management expenses and other costs.These are interrelated with each other and restricted mutually.While schedule planning,optimization and control on progress for the project,are the most important items of the project management system,those are the key factors to determine the project to be successful or not.Preparing a progress schedule provides a basis and coordinates for the project,optimization and control on the project schedule is to guarantee the smooth implementation of the project.The operating tools used in the project management system,as a practice tool of project management,had widely been applied and promoted in developed industrial countries.However,it can be found that only a few practical cases in China actually,it is an emerging application of science.In recent years,it is encouraged to promote the theory of project management and put it into practice in the field of engineering construction actively in China,and it is proved that the application of the theory of project management should play a key role in improvement on the quality of project,guarantee on the project progress and costs reduction.Therefore,in the process of implementation of a project,it would make full use of the relevant theories of project management in preparing schedule,optimization and control on the progress of project,it facilities the smooth implementation of project,on the basis of these,it ensures that the project be built with high quality,construction progress on schedule and controlled costs.First,the pretreatment desulfurization project overview,key techniques,organization structure and management system of the molten iron in T Steel Corp;Secondly,the key part of T Steel Corp,making overall progress of hot metal pretreatment desulfurization project plans,and according to the optimization of project implementation of the project schedule.Then,lists the measures and control points to protect the overall project schedule optimization implementation;Finally,the paper summarizes the project management work,reflect the limitations of this paper,presents a similar project progress management proposals and problems to be solved,a solid foundation for the follow-up work.
