Rugao Retrospective (2006-2010) Evaluation Of Water Environment

From 2006 to 2010 in rugao five years of rapid advance of industrialization,Rugao main river water environmental quality from 2006 to 2010 were retrospectively evaluated,study the dynamic change of water quality,analyze the causes,and in Rugao has a profound significance for the developement of social economy.This article through to 19 Rugao surface water monitoring cross section analysis of monitoring data from 2006 to 2010,studied the Rugao water quality characteristics of the changes in the five years,mainly using the single factor index method and comprehensive pollution index mehtod and comprehensive pollution index method,the two methods of Rugao water environmental quality status analysis and evaluation,in order to investigate the influence of major pollution indicators in Rugao water quality factors,then put forward the corresponding countermeasures water pollutions in Rugao.(1)Analyzing the data in Rugao from 2006 to 2010 with the single factor index method,we concluded that the overall water quality in the Rugao segment of Rutai canal and Tongyang Canal conformed to grade Ⅳ of the surface water standards.Two sections in Ruhai canal and Jiaogang canal were grade Ⅲ of surface water standard,and the water qualities from Shizhuang Town and Baipu Town were grade Ⅳ and worse than grade Ⅴ respectively.The water quality in Rugao harbor reached grade Ⅱ and the north branch of Yangtze River complied with grade Ⅲ.(2)The overall water comprehensive pollution index was in a insignificant increasing trend during the "eleven five" period by applying the single factor index method.The pollution degree of the four major rivers was highest in Rutai Canal,following Tongyang Canal,Jiaogang Canal and Ruhai Canal.The water qualities of Rutai canal and Tongyang Canal were one degree lower in 2010 than those of 2006,and the water qualities of Ruhai canal and Jiaogang canal during the "eleven five"period were grade Ⅲ.The water quality in Rucheng Town was one degree lower in 2010 than that of 2006,however the water qualities in Shizhuang Town and Changjiang Town were increasing in different degrees when comparing to those of 2006,and the water quality in the north branch of Yangtze River remained stable.The surface water of Baipu Town during the "eleven five" period was worse than grade ⅴ.The water qualities in Rutai Canal and Tongyang Canal declined,with the characteristics of organic pollution,exceeding permanganate index,biochemical oxygen and ammonia nitrogen demand.(3)According to the current water environment and the main factors affecting water quality,we put forward some countermeasures such as strengthening dredging and the supervision of protection zone,increasing the threshold of access to environmental protection and industrial pollution intensity,controlling the emission of industrial pollutants in rural areas,constructing infrastructure for rural environmental protection,completing policy formulation and sticking to it and enhancing promotion and education.
