| Based on the MTP plant of Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group Company, this paper summarized some technical modifications of the plant since its commissioning, and established the mathematical model of MTP chilling process and distillation process by Aspen HYSYS. The simulation results of the model are in good agreement with the actual operation data, which validates the rationality of the model simplification. Further analysis of energy saving potential of this system was performed by Aspen Energy Analyzer, and the results provide the basis for the optimization of the process.Energy analysis of the MTP separation process based on the established process model was carried out in this paper. The analysis results show that the energy saving potential of the MTP separation process is huge. The energy can be recovered by 60MW theoretically, which is equal to 25% of the total utility energy. Based on the pinch technology analysis, the irrationality of the original process is pointed out. Meanwhile, two energy-saving reforming schemes, the feeding process of debutanizing modification and the adding rebioler of depropanizing modification are put forward, which provides the basis for the further technical innovation of the company. |
