Hydraulic system has become an important infrastructure of both industry and daily life since it had been applied in practice,and now it is widely applied in every industry for its various advantages.Correspondingly,hydraulic press which uses hydraulic system as its core has already been one of the most vital machines in manufacturing because of the heavy load bearing capability.However,high energy consumption and low energy efficiency are impeding its further application.Moreover,higher requirements must be met since the popularity of Green Manufacturing and Low Carbon Manufacturing.This dissertation has investigated a new energy-saving method from the perspective of multi press control.First,the change situation and distribution status of the energy consumption of hydraulic press has been investigated,and the quantify formula of forming stages as well as the energy consumption mathematic model of hydraulic press has been established to know the source of energy loss in a hydraulic system or press.On the basis of the investigation,multi press energy saving method has been proposed to solve the high energy consumption and low energy efficiency problems.Then,the consumption model and efficiency model of the press under this method have been calculated to measure the performance of the method.Several constraints must be answered to ensure the proper operation of the presses in this multi press energy saving method.Two concrete control strategies which are “nonoverlap” principle and “PR Zone continuity” principle and their mathematical models are given with these constraints.In order to solve the problem of selecting the most appropriate principle,a united assess system has been established to give instructions and the two principals have been studied as instances.Using HY-Y30-16 hydraulic press as the experimental object,its energy consumption and other parameters needed have been measured as the calculate foundation of different control principles.Control and drive logics are given and their performances including energy consumption and efficiency has been compared with the traditional one to validate the energy-saving effect,discuss the best working condition and give instructions when applied in practice.
