In the milling process,milling cutting load has an important influence on tool wear,machining precision and machining quality.When the milling parameter is too high or the collocation is unreasonable,the cutting load is too large,which seriously affects the machining quality of the workpiece.Therefore,in order to improve the production efficiency and reduce the production cost,it is very important to optimize the NC milling parameters.In this paper,taking the 45#steel as an example,through the combination of experimental research and theoretical research,this paper discusses the optimization parameters of NC 45#milling parameters.First of all,the construction process of NC milling machine cutting load testing system and the selection,manufacture and calibration of the sensor used in the experiment are studied.Single factor experiments and orthogonal experiments were used to obtain the effects of milling speed,feed per tooth,axial milling depth and radial milling width on milling force.The increase of milling dep'th and feed per tooth can lead to the increase of milling force,while the increase of cutting speed has the tendency to reduce the milling force.Based on the experimental data obtained from the orthogonal test,the mathematical model of 45#steel milling force is established.The 45#milling force formula of the linear regression analysis showed that significant test analysis,through the test data of 45#milling force formula has very good reliability,can be used to guide the production of products of the same type milling process,milling parameters determination.Finally,the milling speed,milling speed,feed milling depth,axial radial milling width of four factors as optimization variables,established the mathematical model of multi-objective optimization,to explore the minimum load for 45#milling cutting force model and the optimization objective function has been established the joint analysis shows that the cutting force model calculated results good agreement can give some guidance to actual production.Furthermore,the optimal cutting parameters of the NC milling groove products were obtained by the optimization of the target.The spindle speed is 140m/min,the feed per tooth is 0.06mm/z,the axial cutting depth is 5mm,the radial depth is 0.4mm.
