The demand for NC(numerical control)machining technology is becoming more high with the development of manufacturing.The improvement of processing quality and production efficiency are always the main researching points of the scholars.In practice,the machining does not always stay at the ideal state and the cutting force will change with parameters changing which affects the stability and precision of the production.While,the present NC machining technology emphasized the controlling of motion precision and a little consideration is concentrated on the machining precision caused by physical factors,but it has been noted that the physical parameters has a significant effect on machining precision and efficiency.This paper combines the methods of off-line milling parameters optimization and on-line adaptive milling parameters optimization to improve the machining precision and efficiency.The research optimizes the milling parameters and machining process through cutting experiments,optimization and adaptive-process controlling technology to perfect the effect of physical factors on machining quality and efficiency.The specific research is as follows:(1)The relationship between current and cutting load has been established,which is based on the analysis of servo system and the spindle system mathematical model,to achieve the indirect measurement of cutting load in machining process.(2)The relationship between the cutting load and the milling parameters is established and the relationship between the motor current and the milling parameters is deduced.(3)The optimization method of milling is built based on GA?BP neural network and fuzzy theory and the initial optimization library of milling parameters is established combined with practical experiments.(4)The adaptive control system is established to integrate the milling parameter optimization library with adaptive control system to achieve the matching of milling parameters.(5)The adaptive control system is integrated into the three-axis CNC system to realize intelligent adaptive control.Finally,the effectiveness of adaptive optimization of milling parameters will be verified by actual cutting.
