The efficient measuring technique of six degrees of freedom in large space has widespread application background and the engineering application value.In the manufacture of large equipment such as ships,planes,rockets and satellites,the significance of attitude measurement based on this technique is important.wMPS(workspace Measurement and Positioning System)is a kind of photoelectric scanning measurement system based on the intersection measuring principle.It solves the problem of coordinate measurement,tracking and positioning in assembly of large equipment.Compared with other coordinate measurement system in large space,wMPS can measure multipoint at the same time.So it is more efficient.At present,wMPS has a lack of attitude measurement method.So it is necessary to introduce the measuring technique of six degrees of freedom into wMPS.On the basis of analysis of the wMPS measurement principle,this paper proposes the circumferential constraint positioning principle and designs a kind of target with six degrees of freedom to solve this problem.On this target,six photoelectric receiving units are fixed on a plane.Calibrating the position relationship between six units makes them as a whole and then the target can be used to measure.Based on the wMPS experiment platform,experiments are carried out to verify the method.The results show that circumferential receiver measurement repeatability precision is within 0.2mm.The measurement precision is within 0.2mm and the attitude precision is within 0.1°.Additionally,this target can receive signals all-around and weakens the condition of intersection.The main research works are shown as follows:1.This paper introduces the measuring technique of six degrees of freedom and expounds current situation of the development of large-scale measurement.The demand of measuring technique of six degrees of freedom in wMPS is proposed.Additionally,this paper also shows the research significance of the target.2.Based on scanning angle measuring principle,this paper proposes photoelectric scanning multi-angles circumferential restriction positioning principle.The target measurement principle is proposed and the error is analyzed.3.According to the design,this paper analyzes the demand of system and proposes the design of the hardware and the embedded software.Additionally,the prototype of target is developed.4.At last,this paper uses wMPS as a platform to test the precision of the target with six degrees of freedom.
