| A small cationic polymer was synthesized in this article,with epichlorohydrin and dimethylamine as raw material in the way of polymerization.With epichlorohydrin and dimethylamine monomer mole ratio of 1:1,potassium persulfate and sodium sulfite(mass ratio of 1:1)1.5%of the total mass of catalyst for monomer,reaction monomer concentration of 50%,a reaction time of 5h,a reaction temperature of 65 ℃,the optimum synthesis performance was achieved.The product synthesized is a kind of light yellow solid,also water absorptive and water soluble,and the intrinsic viscosity of this product is 14.7 mL/g.By compounding the small cationic polymer with the molecular weight of polyethylene glycol 4000(PEG4000),via static anti-swelling experiment,it is found that the best anti-swelling rate of 80.2%was achieved,with the small cationic polymer/PEG4000 mass ratio of 1:1,at the condition of mass fraction of 1.5%.Through the laser particle size distribution experiments,it is found that the PEG4000,the small cationic polymer and the compound system,can all adsorb with the clay particles,leading to the increase of the average particle size and the decrease of particle size distribution of clay particles.The X-ray diffraction experiment indicates that when the small cationic polymer and PEG4000 compound system adsorbs with the clay particle,PEG4000 molecules can enter the crystal layer of clay particles,while small cationic polymer only adsorbs on the surface of clay particle. |
