More than 90% fluorite is coexisting with barite, and both content adds up nearly 90% in Wuling Mountain area. The main gangue mineral is calcite, and other gangue minerals’ content is scarce. Fluorite(Ca F2), barite(Ba SO4), calcite(Ca CO3) belong to the same cationic main group with similar interface properties and floatability, which makes the separation difficult. The thesis regards Wuling Mountain fluorite, barite and calcite pure mineral asthe object of research. The difference of flotation behavior among three single min-eral and mixed ore simulated in the region(fluorite: barite: calcite = 45:45:10) weresystematically studied from the aspects of the medium p H, collector, inhibitors, solu-tion chemistry, mineral surface potential and infrared spectra. The main conclusionsare as follows:(1) Sodium oleate and p H tests showed: when p H=7, oleate was in range of 2 × 10-5 ~ 1.0×10-4mol/L, the collecting capacity order of three mineralswas: barite > fluorite > calcite.(2) The type of inhibitors tests showed: when p H = 7, the corn dextrin, sodium lignosulfonate was 0.02 ~ 0.1g/L, tannic acid was 2×10-3 ~ 10-2 g/L, bayberry tannin, valonia Tannin was 2×10-5 ~ 10-4g/L, citric acid, sodium silicate, potassium dichromate was 2 × 10-5 ~ 10-4mol/L, sodium fluoride was 0.01 ~ 0.04mol/L, for fluorite, the corn dextrin showed activation, potassium dichromate showed inhibition, or its activation was not obvious, the rest showed inhibition, and the top three inhibition were citric acid> bayberry tannin> tannins. On barite, the water glass, corn dextrin from activation, citric acid, tannic acid, bayberry tannin showed inhibition, or their activation were not obvious, and the rest from the inhibitory effect of three were sodium fluoride > valonia tannin> Wood sodium. For calcite, the sodium fluoride from the activation, the rest three from the inhibitory effect of were valonia Tannin> Wooden sodium> tannins.(3) Effects of inevitably ion on flotation tests showed: in 1×10-4mol/L salt solution, the study of 11 kinds of ions(F-, Cl-, Ca2+, Ba2+, Mg2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, 24SO-, Fe3+, Al3+) were on the calcite disincentive; F-, Cl-, Ca2+, Ba2+, Mg2+, Cu2+, Zn2+ barite from the activation of, 24SO-, Ba2+, Fe3+, Al3+ for barite disincentive; except Ba2+ for fluorite from the activation, the rest were disincentive for fluorite.(4) In mixing ore flotation, bowl oak tannin was used as inhibitors for calcite, sodium fluoride was used as inhibitor for barite. By the process of preferentially inhibiting calcite to flotate fluorite, barite further separation, an effective separation of the three could be achieved.(5) Effects of 4×10-5 mol/L sodium oleate, 1×10-4 mol/L citric acid, 3×10-2 mol/L sodium fluoride, 4×10-5g/L valonia tannin extract on the ζ potential of three minerals and infrared spectroscopy analysis showed: Oil and sodium citrate, sodium fluoride, valonia Tannin were adsorbed on the surface of three minerals principally by physical and chemical reaction, and chemisorption was stronger than the physical adsorption. Potential mineral ζ changes in the absolute value of the mineral surface reactive agents in strength. Flotation rate positively correlated with the intensity of the role of mineral surface, and the strength of inhibitor adsorption and floating rate into a negative.(6) Inevitably ion solution chemistry and Zeta potential analysis showed that: when p H was 6~7, F- had potential to reduce fossil ζ, Mg2+ had potential to decrease fluoriteζ,and to rise barite ζ, and calcite ζ potential unchanged. Ca2+, Ba2+, Cu2+, Fe3+, Al3+ were making three minerals ζ potential rise, but change magnitude of ζ potential and its reaction form was influenced by components.
