The head clothing of women in song dynasty mainly have three parts including crowns, hats,and towels, and this paper will select four kinds of crowns which are representative to present the specific characteristics of women’s head clothing. The body clothing of women in song dynasty mostly consist of nine kinds named sweater, jacket coat, gown, Bei Zi, half-arm, Xie Yi, shawl, skirt and trousers,these various clothing are different in the fabric material, shape, color and evolution. The foot clothing of women in song dynasty include shoes and socks, with the rise of foot-binding, footwear appear new features. With the transformation of the social aesthetics of this period, and the development of the civil economy, women’s clothing have the trend of unconventional style, narrow shape, advocating luxury.
