In today’s world of energy,large tanks are necessary strategic energy reserve facilities,how to protect their safety under the action of the earthquake has been necessary research topics for large number of scholars.For the vertical floating roof tank which is mainly used for oil storage,the violent shaking also will increase the chuck,overturning and settling risk of floating roof,and how to effectively control the sloshing wave height has became an important research direction.In this paper,15 × 104m3 floating roof tank was selected as research object,a new type of suspended partition plate solution was proposed and the results of seismic response under horizontal earthquake excitation were studied by ADINA finite element software.The main research contents are as follows:1.Considering the contact between the floating roof and the wall of the storage tank,the interaction between the tank and the foundation,and liquid-solid coupling between the storage liquid and the tank wall,the finite element analysis model of floating-roof storage tank was established by ADINA.The seismic response of storage tank under the horizontal earthquake excitation are studied,and the numerical simulation results is compared with that of the existing experimental data to verify the effectiveness of the finite element analysis method.The results show that the error rate of the comparison nodes is less than 5%,the numerical analysis method is feasible.2.Selecting the floating-roof storage tank with suspended partition plate for example,the influence of different layer spacing,partition plate radius and partition plate number on the seismic response of the floating roof tank under the traditional seismic conditions were studied.The initial design parameters of suspended partition plate tank were given.The results show that partition plate have obvious inhibitory effect on sloshing wave height.When the single-layer divider is used,the spacing between the separation layer is 6.4m and the radius of the partition plate is 24.5m.The sloshing wave height can be reduced by 33.38%.3.The effect of suspended partition plate on the seismic response of traditional seismic floating roof storage tank in different foundation conditions and different seismic intensities was calculated.The results show that the suspended partition plate can effectively reduce the sloshing wave height of the storage liquid,but it has little effect on the base shear force and overturning moment of storage tank.4.The numerical simulation of the seismic response of the base-isolated floating roof structure under the condition of different seismic intensity,different isolation period and different isolation layer damping ratio was carried out.The results show that the stratified storage can effectively reduce the sloshing wave height of the storage liquid,but it has little effect on the base shear force and overturning moment of storage tank.
