According to the principle of gears generating on hobbing machine,shapping machine and grinding machine,the internal gear tooth profile deviation measurement method is researched on the basis of the base circle generating method.The measuring model of 3-axis linear interpolation is established in the polar coordinate.It replans the interactive relationship between the measurement axes,finishes the calculation of the tooth profile expansion length,and compenates for error,which is caused by the radius of the probe and inaccurate of the start measurement point.In order to verify the feasibility of the method,the system of hardware and software are studied in this paper.Setting up the hardware experimental platform,which contains the mechanical system,motion control system and data gathering system.Adopting the language of Object-Oriented,the function modules is designed,which mainly completes the operating module,the motion control module,the deviation measurement module,the data gathering module.It designs the flow chart of the system reset,the probe calibration,and the tooth profile deviation measurement.Data gathering module will be collect for the measuring data,then getting the final deviation curve bases on the definition of the tooth profile deviation.Doing experiment with the six accuracy class large-scale and the five accuracy class small-scale involute cylindrical internal gears on the hardware experimental platform.The experimental results show that the internal gear tooth profile deviation measurement method has a certain detection accuracy,and finishes the internal gear tooth profile deviation measuring method.
