Glass is a widely useful material in our ordinary life with high theoretical strength,excellent optical performance,non-ageing and smooth appearance.However,glass always cause harm to the human body as we call the "light pollution" because of its high reflectivity.The chemical frosting of glass were investigated for achieving the intention of preventing light pollution through adjusting the transmittance,increasing the roughness and reduing reflectance of glass.The development of frosted glass was studied by using soda-lime glass as the object of study.Based on the traditional glass frosting technology,the environment-friendly frosting technology was developed.The three part respectively from the start,the first step is to compound glass cleaning fluid as the premise,cleanliness of the glass surface directly affects the frosting effect,sodium hydroxide,sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate,betaine,sodium stearate,phosphoric acid,ethanol and water were mixed in different proportions.The glass was cleaned and the surface morphology of the glass was observed by SEM to determine the optimum ratio of the cleaning solution.And the single factor experiment was carried out.The optimum temperature and time were selected,and the optimum technological conditions.The second step is to explore the formula of frosting liquid.The single factor experiment and the orthogonal test are used to optimize the experiment proportion,and then the optimum process conditions are determined,the effect of frosting effect is further represented and evaluated.The third step is mainly used in the development of environmental protection frosting technology and electronic display on the basis of the impact of frosting effect of the factors to be analyzed,and later in the mobile phone screen application experiments,The application effect was evaluated.Conclusion the experiment as follow:(1)To study the relationship between the surface morphology of the glass and glass cleaning solution and the influence of the technological conditions,the best formula of the cleaning solution was determined as(mass ratio): Sodium hydroxide: sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate: sodium stearate: phosphoric acid:ethanol: water = 6: 1.5: 0.5: 0.8: 3.0: 2.5: 95,the best process conditions: at50 ℃ temperature,cleaning 10 min.(2)The formula of frosting liquid was optimized by single factor experiments and orthogonal test,formula of frosting liquid was obtained:Sodium fluoride: hydrochloric acid: ammonium sulfate: barium sulfate: starch:water = 21: 12: 2: 1: 1.5: 300.And in the basic of optimized formulation and single factor experiment,the optimum process conditions was obtained:temperature 30℃,frosting time 3 min.(3)In the conditions of optimal formula and process,frosting experiment was carried out and the effect of frosting was investigated by SEM,EDX,UV and RT bending and transmission test.The result showed that the light transmittance is reduced to 85% and the roughness is raised to 0.35 ~0.40 um.After the frosted glass,evenness,smoothness of glass surface had improved than before.(4)The frosting technology application tests were conducted on mobile phone glass panel,the effect of frosting was investigated by AFM,roughness,light transmission bending and transmission test.The results showed that evenness,smoothness,light transmittance of glass surface had improved.In bright light,the image forming ability and clarity significantly improved phone panel,effectively reducing the static fatigue,reducing the optical radiation on the human body.
