Heavy NC machine tools mainly applied to aerospace,shipbuilding,automobile and other parts of the machinery manufacturing fields.Its performance decides the level of national equipment manufacturing industry.The heavy load and heavy cutting characteristics and the application of complex environmental characteristics of heavy NC turn-milling machine lead to the complex heat mechanism of the whole machine and the key components,which make great influence on machining error.And the error caused by thermal deformation accounts for 40 ~ 70% of the total error.As one of the key components of the Heavy NC turn-milling machine,effective control of its thermal deformation has become one of the key technologies to improve the machining precision and the accuracy stability of the machine tool.So,it’s of great significance to research and apply the thermal characteristics regulation key technologies of heavy NC turn-milling machine to elevate its machining performance.In this paper,the hydrostatic turntable test platform was build,and the oil film characteristics mechanism and regulation technologies of hydrostatic turntable were researched.The research contents are as follows:1.Hydrostatic oil film thermal characteristics numerical simulation and theoretical analysis were carried out based on the theory of fluid mechanics,tribology and finite element analysis.The oil film and turntable geometric model were established according to the test object structural parameters,and the oil film heating laws under different viscosity effects were analyzed based on ANASYS Workbench platform,and the theoretical basis for selecting the suitable hydraulic oil was provided.By theoretical formulas and the finite element numerical simulation analysis,the heating laws of circular and fan-shaped oil film were compared,which provide the technical reference for designing heavy hydrostatic oil pad.At last,the mathematical model between temperature,speed,load and the thermal deformation was established,which provides a theoretical reference for temperature control.2.The thermal characteristic detecting system of Heavy NC hydrostatic turntable was built by computer testing technology,temperature sensors,displacement sensors,data acquisition card and other hardware.And the scientific measurement of the oil film temperature,the working space environmental temperature and the thermal deformation of the turntable was realized.The test results show the correctness and validity of the simulation methods.3.The temperature control technology of Heavy Duty NC hydrostatic turntable was studied.The serial transmission and DAC program were designed based on ARM.And the temperature control module of STM32 serial data communication and fuzzy PID self-tuning algorithm was developed based on LabVIEW.At last,the experimental results show the effectiveness and practicability of the proposed temperature control strategy.4.The paper developed heavy NC hydrostatic turntable thermal characteristics data manage system based on SQL Server 2008 database and VB.NET platform.And the functions of inquiring,editing,processing and the management of complex thermal characteristics experimental data were realized.
