The concept of high-speed machining has been widely used in industrial production since its introduction in 1931.After long-term exploration,research and development,at present,it is mainly applied to the ordinary steel,cast iron and aluminum alloy processing,mostly for the general turning and milling,and mainly used in the finishing processes.To some extent,the study of high-speed cutting is still chaotic,including how to define it,the application of high-speed cutting in the processing of difficult materials,and other processes is not yet mature.Therefore,this paper studies the deep hole high-speed drilling technology of refractory material titanium alloy to verify,improve the theory of high-speed cutting from a new application field,and improve deep hole drilling productivity and hole processing quality.This article first starts from the the key technology of high-speed cutting,high-speed cutting tool,based on the analysis of the deep hole drilling mechanism of titanium alloy TC4,the structure and geometrical parameters of ordinary deep hole drill bits are deeply studied,and the cutting mechanism and the mechanism of the chip are analyzed.The mechanical analysis of the drill bit is carried out,and the mechanical model of the drill force is established.The viewpoint of reducing the friction force of the guide block to improve the cutting speed is put forward.The tooth width and the position of the deep-hole drill bit of the high-speed misaligned tooth drill are redesigned.The selection of the cutting tooth material and the geometric angle of the cutting tooth is completed.The new design method provides the theoretical basis for the design of high speed deep hole drill bit.Take TC4 as the high-speed deep hole drilling test material,and do the comparison test with ordinary drill and high-speed drill bit,The main test parameters are as follows: drilling torque,drilling temperature and tool durability.After analyzing the experimental data,the following conclusions are obtained: in the deep hole drilling process,the drilling torque and the cutting temperatures of the optimized bit are significantly lower than those of the ordinary bit.Under the same drilling conditions,compared to ordinary drill,the wear on flank face of the optimized bit is Significantly lower,and the cutting edge of the wear is smoother.the optimized drill has a higher tool durability,and its drilling force is more stable.In the high speed test of the optimized bit,deep hole drilling of?38mm titanium alloy,when the spindle speed is higher than 630r/min,that is,cutting speed higher than 75.17m/min,that is into the transition zone of titanium alloy high-speed deep hole drilling,when the spindle speed is higher than 1000r/min,the cutting speed is 119.32m/min,that is into high-speed area.Due to experimental conditions,the Solomon curve has not been fully verified.
