Study On The Chaise Longue Back Measurements Of Body Comfort Based On Body Pressure Distribution

Chaise longue attract more and more people with its graceful appearance and unique temperament.When people sitting,unreasonable chair design and sitting postures will cause uneven pressure to body,and leading to disease.It is bad to health.The sitting posture on the chaise longue is different from sitting on a common chair.So it is important to do a research on the comfort to chaise longue.By the way of combining objective methods with subjective methods,this paper gives a experiment research on the four influencing factors of chaise longue’s backrest comfort.The results of experiment showed:(1)When the backrest’s angle of chaise longue is 100°、105°、110°、115°、120°,sitting comfort is best when the backrest’s angle is 115°and the sitting comfort is worst when the backrest’s angle is 100°.(2)When the backrest’s height of chaise longue is 400mm、440mm、480mm、520mm、560mm、the sitting comfort is worst when the backrest’s height is 400mm,the sitting comfort is good when the backrest’s height is 480mm,and when the backrest’s height is 520mm,the sitting comfort is the best.(3)When the height of the waist pillow is 0、300mm、350mm、400mm,the sitting comfort is worst when the pillow height is 0 or 400mm,the sitting comfort is the best when the pillow height is 350mm.(4)When the depth of the waist pillow is0、100mm、150mm、200mm,the sitting comfort is worst when the pillow depth is 200mm,the sitting comfort is good when the pillow depth is 150mm,the sitting comfort is the best when the pillow depth is 100mm.(5)The contact area between body and the backrest is positive related to the comfort of waist and shoulder.We can increase the contact area to improve the sitting comfort.(6)The maximum pressure gradient is negative related to the comfort of waist.We can increase the comfort of waist through reducing the maximum pressure gradient.
