The guide shoe is an important part of the shearer,which plays the role of supporting and guiding on the shearer.Whether it is normal or not will directly affect the normal operation of shearer.In the downhole operation,the bad environment is changeable,So,the guide shoes of shearer are under the impact load.And the contact surface between the surface of guide shoes and the guide rail is dry without oil to lubricate.Therefore,guide shoes are worn,and often need to repair or replace new guide shoes,which is not only reduces the service life of the shearer,but also reduces the efficiency of coal mining.It is necessary to analyze the strength and wear resistance of guide slipper.In this paper,the mechanical analysis of the shearer is carried out by means of the theory of statics,and the force of the guide shoes is solved;By using that force,the contact stress,the frictional stress and the frictional state are simulated by the finite element simulation software,and The strength of the guide shoes is checked;In the actual production,the guide surface of the guide shoe has a high temperature because of friction.Due to the low speed of the coal mining machine,the heat conduction and natural-convection heat transfer are the main methods of the heat dissipation.Based on the theory of heat transfer,the convective heat transfer coefficient of coal mining machine is calculated,and the temperature field is simulated by using the temperature simulation module of finite element ansysis.The wear mechanism of the shearer is analyzed theoretically,and the thickness range of the surfacing layer is calculated by means of the model,then three kinds of common guide sliding shoe surfacing materials are selected to experiment.Through the above analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)In different conditions,stress of shearer is varying,and the shearer's slipper force is mainly affected by the angle of coal seam and the pitching angle of coal mining machine,and the influence of the angle of coal seam shearer stress is the most significant.(2)During operation,the guide shoe is subject to large equivalent stress and contact stress.Due to the large contact stress,the guide shoe has adhesion with the pin rail in the work,and the pitting is formed on the contact surface,which can accelerate the wear of the guide shoes.(3)During the coal mining operation,the temperature filed of guide shoes is complex,and high temperature will produce nearly 150 degrees under extreme conditions,which makes the guide shoes material internal phase change,thereby it reduce the material hardness,decrease the wear resistance and accelerate the guide shoes wear.(4)The wear mechanism of Guide shoes is abrasive wear and adhesive wear.temperature and pressure has a great effect on the wear resistance of guide shoes.By the experiment of wear resistance,When D and E are used as guide sliding shoe wear resistant materials,the shearer can be considered to be used in the operation of 150?200 km when the shearer is running.
