There are many factors destroying the marine ecological environment,one of them is the submarine oil pipeline leakage and its damage may last long time.Therefore,a rapid and useful mechanism should be established to solve environmental pollution caused by oil pipeline leakage.Based on submarine oil pipeline leakage in Bohai sea,this thesis studies the underwater oil spill spread rules.Firstly,this thesis introduces the history and background of the research of underwater oil spilling spread rules,research significance,domestic and international research status and main theories and methods.Secondly,this thesis gives some improvements to current models from three aspects.The current models take effects of water velocity,oil density,leak size and wave to the underwater oil spill spread rules.These models did not consider the effect of water temperature,position of damaged submarine pipeline and angle of leaking hole.To solve the above problems,the models given in this thesis considers effects of temperature to the oil properties,including density,viscosity,specific heat,coefficient of thermal conductivity;effects of position of damaged submarine pipeline and angle of leaking hole to the initial state of leaked oil.How three factors mentioned above affect underwater oil spill spread rules are discussed in detail,respectively.And the least squats method is used to fit the data.The numerical simulations show that the longest horizontal distance and the time oil droplets migrate when they reach the sea surface are affected obviously by these factors mentioned above.These results provide more useful guidance for placing oil containment booms.Finally,a summary of this thesis and some thinking and outlook of the future research of fluid simulation are given.In this thesis,standard k-? turbulence model and VOF model are employed in the governing equations.FVM(finite volume method)is used to discretize above equations.PISO algorithm is employed to solve the flow field.All the simulations are carried out using a commercial software package FLUENT 15.0.
