Comparison Analysis And Application Of Conventional Sleeves And Special-shaped Sleeves In Female Clothing Design

With the development of society,human’s requirements to clothing have also developed.From originally keeping warm and being a shelter,the individuation is the superior factor taking into consideration when people choosing clothing.So the design of special-shaped sleeves can meet the developing demands of clothing aestheticism.Especially in female clothing design,the innovation of sleeves can be a highlight.On the basis of principles of sleeves design,we can create many innovative products due to different design methods and materials.Sleeves are one of the most important parts in clothing design.Except the neckline,sleeves are the closest design component to the head.More than protection and decoration,sleeves are also a main attraction in clothing design.As an important impact element in clothing design,the variation of different sleeves has a direct influence in the silhouette.The silhouette is the intuitional visual perception what the cloth presents.So,different silhouettes leave different impression to people.In this paper,the design of special-shaped sleeves is the object in the field of modern female clothing design.This paper can mainly be divided into 6 parts.The first part will mainly talks about the research of special-shaped sleeves’ current situation,background,significance and the research’s basic ideas,contents and methods.The second part will summarize the main points in the sleeves design by analyzing thestructure and designing elements.The third part will talks about the different types of sleeves and the main features of normal-shaped sleeves and special-shapes sleeves.The forth part will distinguish the modeling method of normal-shaped sleeves and special-shapes sleeves by comparative study.The fifth part will explore the feasibility research of the application of one-piece structure special-shapes sleeves in modern female clothing by experiments and analyzing the current situation of special-shapes sleeves.And the last part will come to a conclusion about the deficiency and the expectation of the follow-up research.I hope this research could have some benefits in the innovation of modern female clothing design.
