| In this paper,the pigment paste is mainly used for lighttight fabric coating.we design the formula and process the pigment dispersibility to fluid or paste state.Addition of the pigment paste in the fabric coating slurry make the coating colorful and lighttight.Disperse pigment by using some different production machines such as three-roller machine,sand mill and bead mill.For design of the formula,we use the assistant agent to change surface properties of pigment,change the oil absorption value,the resin used for carrier,then adjust the paste viscosity with solvent to fit to the machines.At the same time,we survey the application result from the coating.we find that different formula and process can lead to different result,and according to the usage,we adjusted the formula and process.By improving pigment content in the paste,then the customer can use less pigment paste to get the satisfactory result.When choosing the materials,we must consider the needs of the production,and preservation.And on the basis of experiment,and tracking the quality of products,further optimization of the product processing must be done for the balance between quality and cost.Statistics results suggest that the black pigment paste accounted for more than 60%in all the pigment pastes used in lighttight coating markets,and in the process of development and production,the black color paste is more difficult than the others.In this thesis we focus on the developing and producing of the black pigment paste.The results are as follow:1.Research got the raw materials of general pigment paste for fabric coating:Hydroxy-acrylic resin,alkylammonium salt of a high molecular weight copolymer,xylene and butyl acetate mixed solvent,color black pigment.2.To the black general pigment paste,when add 18%black pigment in the paste.the binder ratio is less than 2,the amount of wetting dispersant is 15%to the black pigment,the viscosity of products is about 15000 mpa.S,the production can get better cost performance.3.Optimize the production process,first predispersion the paste with dispersion machine at a rate of 1000RPM,then disperse the paste by bead mill,the discharging speed of the first time is 4 liters/min,and the second time is 2 liters/min.4.By developing and producing general pigment paste for lighttight coating,the pigment paste can fit for both PA and PU resin coating.It reduce the stock in factory,and make the production process easier.5.By increasing the pigment content in the pigment paste,the customer can use less pigment paste in the coating process.It reduced the cost of coating.6.The high-content pigment paste make the umbrella cloth better in light-blocking,improve the competitiveness of products.The half lighttight and full lighttight umbrella cloth became popular product on the market in recent years,the umbrella cloth made by these pigment paste was accepted by many famous umbrella companies like Paradise Umbrella Group Co.,Ltd.7.The pigment paste we produced has achieved good economic and social benefits,the company’s sales in the coating industry increased since 2013,and in 2015,the production value of the pigment paste for coating achieved RMB 12,000,000. |
