Digital jet printing break through the traditional plate-making, and the advantages ofdigital jet printing products are high precious, flexible production, personalization ofproduction, and energy saving and emission reduction. Digital inks are one of the threeelements of digital jet printing technology, and are consist of dye base ink and pigment ink.Pigment ink is applied to printing all kinds of textile and the process of the pretreatment andpost treatment is simple, at the same time, digital jet printing production have good lightfastness and harmless. Developing digital pigment ink technology is essential part of textileindustry.Pigment ink are consist of pigment, dispersant, adhesive, surfactant, deionized water,pH-modifier, antifoaming agents and antibacterial agent. First, blend of pigment, dispersant,surfactant and deionized water and prepared to pigment paste used by grinding miller. Findout the best time, the dosage of dispersant and surfactant by analyzing pigment size, surfacetension and stability of pigment paste. Second, adding other chemical agents to the pigmentsand find out the best dosage of chemical agents by analyzing viscosity, surface tension and pHvalue. The formula of pigment paste is: pigment3%, dispersant0.3%, surfactant6%, the restis deinoized water. The formula of pigment ink is: pigment paste12.3%, adhesive3.5%,surfactant15.4%, pH-modifier1.2%, antibacterial agent0.03%, antifoaming agent0.6%, therest is deinoized water.Finally, find out the best process of post treatment by analyzing the dry fastness and wetfastness of the digital printing products.
