Research On Face Gear Grinding Principle And Device Based On Plane Grinding Wheel

Face gear transmission is a new gear transmission form developed in recent years,compared with the traditional gear transmission,gear transmission has the advantages of small volume,light weight,large bearing capacity,shunt-bus has the advantages of simple structure,convenient installation,coincidence degree,many advantages of higher transmission ratio.Face gear can be applied in many occasions,the bevel gear transmission of almost all can use face gear transmission,and various parameters and performance have been greatly improved,especially in the helicopter reducer on,due to the technical blockade and secrecy,face gear our research remains at the theoretical analysis and experiment stage.The grinding principle and device of face gear has important theoretical significance and practical value.This paper expounds the face gear using plane grinding wheel gear grinding principle.According to the principle of grinding gear meshing theory and plane grinding wheel,a grinding model of face gear plane grinding wheel,derived the equation of the face gear.Based on gear tooth undercutting and tooth tip conditions change,the maximum radius coefficient of-face gear and minimum radius coefficient calculation.According to the principle of the gear tooth surface working plane,plane grinding wheel and gear cutting tool is a pair of conjugate surface,the generation principle of conjugate surface,through the establishment of coordinate system and the matrix transf-ormation.the establishment of mathematical model of tooth surface of face gear.Discrete mathematic model will be established by utilizing the mathematical software Matlab.And the use of 3D modeling software Pro/E data on the discretization of the geometric modeling and meshing simulation.Face gear dedendum undercutting and topping were calculated,and the ultimate radius and the effective length of tooth.To study the influence of shaft angle error,the geometric eccentric error and transmission error on gear transmission.The reason and process of face gear contact formation,the pinion and face gear meshing point on the trajectory.According to the gear grinding principle of plane grinding wheel,grinding scheme gives three kinds of face gear,and the auxiliary device machine grinding method,established the model of auxiliary device and machine tool.
