Aerobic fermentation and anaerobic digestion are efficient and mature technologies for dealing with biomass waste.The spent mushroom substrate and food waste belong to the biomass waste,which can realize recycling by the technology of aerobic fermentation and anaerobic digestion.The combined treatment of spent mushroom substrate and food waste has the advantages of properties and nutritional supplement.As two of biological treatment,aerobic fermentation and anaerobic digestion are are widely used in China.In this study,the materials are spent mushroom substrate and food waste,the feasibility of aerobic fermentation and anaerobic digestion was analyzed,and the degradation of typical organic matter and microbial diversity were compared.The details are as follows:(1)The changes of physical and chemical properties were accompanied by aerobic fermentation process of spent mushroom substrate and food waste,such as temperature increases with the increase of pile height increased,different height fluctuation of ORP value is consistent with the trend,ORP can be used as one of the indexes to reflect the aerobic fermentation process;the pH value from the initial 6 gradually rose to 7.5,stable in neutral and alkaline.The mechanical turning and forced aeration aerobic fermentation process have advantages and disadvantages.The combination of mechanical inversion and forced ventilation can further improve the effect of composting.(2)The BMP methane production potential experiments of spent mushroom substrate-kitchen waste materials show that the methane production potential of food waste,SMS-Pleurotus ostreatus and SMS-Flammulina velutipes were 252.1?16.4 and 115.6 ml·gTS-1 respectively.by orthogonal test of anaerobic digestion conditions of spent mushroom substrate-food waste shows that the optimal combination is the ratio of spent mushroom substrate to(TS)was 1:2,which was pretreated with 2%NaOH and culture at medium temperature(35?).The cumulative methane production was highest in orthogonal#9(up to 12950±184)ml.(3)Either aerobic fermentation or anaerobic digestion,are accompanied by the degradation of organic matter transformation.Reducing sugar,protein and fat easily degradable in two kinds of biotransformation system,and hemicellulose in two kinds of biological systems is reduced by 16.1%?41.1%.(4)The microbial composition and diversity of the samples at the end of aerobic fermentation and anaerobic digestion were analyzed by high throughput sequencing.Fungi,bacteria and archaea differ widely in aerobic and anaerobic digestion of these two biological systems.The richness and diversity of microorganisms in anaerobic digestion system are higher than aerobic fermentation.
