China is rich in resources.And with the rapid development of economy and society,the demand for mineral resources is also growing,but the problems like the difficulty in ore dressing and the backward of prospecting equipment still exist in the exploitation and utilization of mineral resources.So it still can not satisfy the requirements.However,the primary work of beneficiation is minerals grinding.Nowadays,in the laboratory of mineral analysis field,because of the backward technology,lots of laboratory mineral analysis equipments are still in the 1980 s and 1990 s.So this thesis based on the existing research tries to design an efficient vertical vibration mill,which can be used for the mineral samples grinding under(including)5kg in the laboratory to solve the existing problems and satisfy the needs of development.The specific work of this thesis is as follows:(1)The state of the domestic and foreign research and the main problems at the present stage about the vertical vibration mill are given.The new type of vertical vibration mill is designed,and its structure and working principle are introduced based on the material crushing theory and methods.(2)The dynamic calculation of the new type of vertical vibration mill is done,including the crushing strength,the vibration force in the horizontal plane of the eccentric block and eccentric hammer,the impact force and impact torque,the establishment and solution of vibration differential equation in the horizontal plane,the establishment and solution of rotation differential equation around the X and Y axis and the calculation of grinding chamber's vibration track.And then the mill's main parts are designed,including the selection of the motor,the design of the eccentric block and eccentric hammer,the selection of universal coupling and the design of grinding chamber.Finally,the parts' 3D model and assembly of the new type of vertical vibration mill are set up by SolidWorks.(3)The 3D model of the new type of vertical vibration mill is simplified and merged,and the motion model of the new type of vertical vibration mill isestablished by using the ADAMS virtual prototype technology.And the new type of vertical vibration mill is simulated,and then the structural design is optimized based on the simulation results.The final results show that the movement of the new type of vertical vibration mill is in accordance with the original design,the impact force between eccentric hammer and grinding chamber is big enough,the trajectory of eccentric hammer is concentrated,the frequency of the impact force greater than 5000 N between eccentric hammer and grinding chamber is high,the rotational kinetic energy and kinetic energy of eccentric hammer is big,and the force of the springs is big while the horizontal amplitude is small.So the design of the new type of vertical vibration mill is in accordance with the expected design.(4)Based on the dynamics and kinematics analysis and the structural optimization of the new type of vertical vibration mill,the modal analyses of the eccentric block and eccentric hammer are done by ANSYS Workbench,the results show that the resonant frequency of the eccentric block and the eccentric hammer is much higher than the working frequency of the mill,and the eccentric block and the eccentric hammer can provide enough vibration energy.The static analysis,the fatigue analysis and the modal analysis of the cross shaft of the universal coupling are done,the results show that the cross shaft universal coupling can satisfy the design requirements and its selection is reasonable.(5)Based on the design and the finite element analysis,the simulation analyses of two kinds of traditional vertical vibration mill with small eccentric grinding medium and with numerous grinding balls are done and compared with the new type of vertical vibration mill by the impact force,the trajectory of eccentric hammer,the rotational kinetic energy and kinetic energy of eccentric hammer,the force of the springs and its horizontal amplitude.The results show that the new type of vertical vibration mill has great improvement in grinding efficiency,energy saving and the life of springs.By the design and optimization of the structure,the kinematics and dynamics analysis and the finite element analysis of main parts,the vertical vibration mill which can be used for the mineral samples grinding under(including)5kg in the laboratory is designed.Based on the comparison with the new type of vertical vibration mill and the traditional vertical vibration mills,thisthesis find that the new type of vertical vibration mill has some certain improvement in material grinding,stress in the springs and energy saving and great promotion in enhancing the grinding effect and energy saving of the vertical vibration mill.
