With the improvement of the citizen living standards, as well as the adoption of two child policy, there is a rapid increase in infant consumption. People who purchase infant product not only care about the price, but also pay attention to the user experience. At present, most user experience studies both home and abroad focus on mono-user experience, while just a few studies focus on multi-user experience. The users of feeding bottle include infants and parents, so it is a typical dual-users product.Based on the particularity of feeding bottles, dual-users experience concept is proposed in this thesis, and the dual-users experience of feeding bottles is studied.Firstly, in this thesis, the definition of dual-users experience is raised combining the user experience theory and the infant product characteristics, and the dual-users experience in the feeding bottle product is analyzed. Meanwhile, combined with the psychological characteristics of infants, the investigation and design method of dual-users experience is analyzed and summarized, mainly including behavioral observation, situational narration, Kano requirement model and user experience level analysis. Secondly, the research of dual-users experience is carried out based on the dual-users experience method. Through questionnaire survey, the basic situation of infant milk powder feeding is learned. Users are selected to observe the behavior of feeding process with feeding bottles. Combining user interviews and user testing, we conclude that there exist three types of problems. First, infants cannot wait to get feeding when hungry, the temperature of liquid milk is difficult to keep and brewing and cleaning bottle repeatedly will increase the burden on parents. Second, the time of infant products suitable for use is short, and it is difficulty to recover infant products.Third, the design details of the whole bottle and parts that affect user experience are summed up. Combining the Kano requirement model and user experience level analysis method, the pains of product are summarized and the requirements of user are scooped, and the user requirements are refined and translated into product features. Finally, a thermostat feeding bottle based on dual-users experience is designed, and design testing is conducted. This study is aimed at considering the design of infant feeding bottles from the perspective of dual-users experience. User experience theory is introduced in this study to make the design not only satisfies the need for function, but also brings better user experience for both parents and infants. This study is an effective supplement to the theory of user experience and the research of infant product design, and will provide reference for the design of the same type of product design.
