With the rapid growth and widespread use of smart home devices,people’s lives are becoming more and more convenient.The development prospect of smart home is obvious.However,furniture products,as the last piece of the Home Internet of Things,are still at a simple level of intelligence in terms of function superposition."The "Generation Z" group,as young people who have just entered the society,are willing to experience new things and have a rigid demand for furniture products.It is crucial to promote the intelligent development of the furniture industry.As a necessary furniture product in people’s daily life,the development of closet innovation and improvement is relatively slow.By studying the existing intelligent wardrobe products,we can see that the intelligent design of wardrobe is still based on simple function superposition.The direction of intelligent development has greatly deviated from the needs of users.Therefore,this paper will firstly position the user group of intelligent closet,and after clarifying the target group mainly of "Generation Z",fully understand the user needs of this user group in terms of physiology,psychology and usage behavior.Secondly,based on user demand theory and user experience theory,we construct intelligent closet design process,and design and develop intelligent closet products that meet the needs of "Generation Z" user groups.This paper first explores the current situation of intelligent development of smart home products and traditional furniture and makes a case study of existing smart closet products from various aspects.Second,from the theoretical model of user experience,based on the qualitative and quantitative research methods,the user experience design method of intelligent closet based on KANO model is proposed;after the target user groups and user needs are clarified,the KANO model is used as a guide to classify and rank the user needs,and then the user needs of "Generation Z" are obtained.The mapping relationship between the user needs of "Generation Z" user group and smart closet design elements;then,under the guidance of user needs and user experience theory,the smart closet design principles of "Generation Z" user group are divided into two dimensions and three levels,summarizing Finally,through the design practice of smart closet,the theory of smart closet product design is further verified.
