Melting aluminum furnace is the key equipment in the process of aluminum recycling technology,and the level of smelting equipment determines the thermal efficiency,the quality of recycled product,and pollution to the environment.The performance of aluminum melting furnace is not only influenced by the furnace's own design structure,but also related to the whole system,such as the choice of burner and the recycling use of flue gas.In this paper,the research on the melting aluminum furnace which has double chamber is based on the practice,through the combination of theory and practice,the advantages of melting aluminum furnace of xiao bo were studied,and the problem that needs to be improved were made.The main research contents and conclusions in this paper are as follows:Firstly,from the combination of theory and practice,the melting aluminum furnace of 50 tons was designed,and the refractory material,burner,fan,and pump were selected.Then the CAD drawing was draw,and the building process of melting aluminum furnace was followed.Secondly,through reasonable assumption and simplification about the structure of the melting aluminum furnace,a three-dimensional model and the mesh was established by Gambit.The simulation was solved by Fluent,then the temperature and flow distribution of aluminum melting furnace was analysed.Finally,the simulation results were processed by Tecplot.From the simulation results,it is obvious that the temperature distribution of the aluminum melting furnace under the design conditions is uniform.It is conducive to generating high quality aluminum water and reducing the rate of burning loss.
