MAG welding efficient energy-saving, low hydrogen anti-rust is an effective way to achieve welding automation. The adaptive welding control technology of swing arc sensing is the key technology of welding automation.The research is mainly for two aspects: First, automatically identify the weld path, by analyzing the arc signal obtained by the weld deviation information to adjust the relative position of the welding gun and groove so that the welding point in the groove center line; the second is the groove Width of the change in the weld, in the realization of weld tracking on the basis of timely control of welding process to ensure the quality of welding welding.MAG welding process, due to lack of precision groove processing,assembly accuracy is not enough or there is a wrong situation, etc. will make different parts of the bead groove width changes, in order to maintain the consistency of the thickness of each layer to ensure that the groove side Wall fusion, the gun swing width must be controlled.Arc welding is a physical and chemical process with complex nonlinearity and high load characteristics. When the groove width of weldment changes, the welding parameters also nonlinear change. In order to theoretically study the welding process and welding process of MIG welding.First of all in the narrow groove under the condition of MAG welding system dynamic model was established. The model takes into account the welding torch swing to the side wall, the existence of the "arc burning" phenomenon,by analyzing the simulation results, obtained the side wall of different width of groove of arc length and welding current value under different welding parameters.Secondly, based on the high-frequency swing welding experiment system platform, the influence of the swing width on the weld formation is analyzed according to the macroscopic metallographic analysis of the weld. The influence of the swing width on the droplet and arc shape changes is studied by high speed camera system. The current signal determines the effect of the swing width on the current signal. The width of the groove is different to obtain the best weld shape and the best weld tracking signal torch swing width value.Finally, an adaptive tracking algorithm of groove width of MAG welding groove is established. The program of seam tracking is programmed according to the algorithm, and the adaptive tracking experiment of groove width is carried out.
