In today's chemical,petroleum,metallurgical and other industries,large reciprocating compressors are essential for an important machine,which bear the important function of compressing gas and conveying gas.Due to its working characteristics of suction and exhaust,the fluid pressure velocity in the pipeline changes cyclically.There is an inevitable flow of pulsation in pipeline.Airflow pulsation is the main reason for the vibration of the reciprocating compressor.Setting buffer tanks is the most important and effective means to suppress the pulsation of the air flow.But some units equipped with a buffer tank is still have excessive pulsation.In this paper,some research on the optimization of buffer tank is carried out.The pulsating transmission characters of reciprocating compressor and its associated piping equipment are studied based on the theory of plane fluctuation.The influence of inlet and outlet layouts on the pulsation is studied by CFD method,the best way to take over the buffer tank is explored.And it can provide reference for the design of reciprocating compressor pipeline.A fast-loading filter is designed and it is compared with other forms of pulsation suppression device to study the effect of airflow pulsation suppression.A reciprocating compressor air pulsating test bed is build to further study.On the basis of theoretical research,the diesel hydrogenation compressor and pipeline with excessive vibration in a refinery is analyzed,and the corrective measures is put forward.
