High frequency quenching machine especially high frequency quenching machine for small shaft parts,used for surface quenching of metal parts,with fast speed,high efficiency,has been gradually applied in mechanical industry.Its performance mainly depends on the level of the control system of electrical machine.At present,high frequency quenching machine is widely used on the workpiece heating temperature for indirect or open-loop control.The heating temperature and hardness of the same kind of workpiece are not uniform,and there are some deficiencies and problems.Therefore,in view of this problem,this paper designed a small shaft parts of high-frequency quenching machine electrical control system to achieve the workpiece temperature measurement and closed-loop control at the prosess of movement and rotation,so that the same workpiece heating temperature,quenching hardness uniform,and improve the surface quality of quenching.Firstly,high frequency quenching surface heat treatment processand the general structure,technical parameters and technical requirements of high frequency quenching machine for small shaft parts are introduced.The design of electric control system for high frequency quenching machine is mainly introduced.The electrical control system of high frequency quenching machine is divided into three subsystems,including workpiece movement and rotation control system,workpiece heating temperature control system and workpiece cooling control system.Secondly,the overall design of the system is accomplished by two parts: hardware design and software design.In the aspect of hardware,this paper expounds the selection of the hardware in the system,and gives the general design scheme of the electric control system of the high frequency quenching machine for the small shaft parts;On the software side,the control function of the three control systems are realized under the unified control of the programmable controller,and the first use of closed loop PID regulator to control the heating temperature and cooling rate on.The multi parameter control of the electric control system of the high frequency quenching machine tool is realized through the coordinated control of the workpiece.Finally,the debugging and realization of the electric control system of the high frequency quenching machine for small shaft parts are accomplished.By analyzing the factors that affect the quality of the workpiece quenching,the heating temperature and the cooling rate of the workpiece are determined as the main control parameters of the electrical control system of the high frequency quenching machine.Through the infrared thermometer,the application of artificial intelligent temperature controller,programmable controller,touch screen,frequency converter,stepping motor and actuator and other automation equipment parameter settings and experiment,the manual / single step operation and automatic debugging of the electric control system of the high frequency quenching machine are completed.According to the test results of the electrical control system of high frequency quenching machine and user operation verification,show that the design of high frequency quenching machine electric control system can meet user's requirements,and to reach the domestic advanced level of similar products,the high frequency quenching machine for its control in the practical application of quenching hardness small deviation,quenching area(the size of)the characteristics of high precision,simple operation,reliable operation,high cost.
