At present,from the whole market situation,the steel industry has declined sharply.China has begun to supply side structural reform.In this market environment,the cold rolling plant of the Ansteel Corporation must tap the internal potential to ensure product quality,enhance the accuracy of the equipment function,reduce the cost and improve the production efficiency,urgently need to strengthen resource-saving and flexible production that oriented cold rolling key technology research and development.This dissertation is based on the revamping project of the tandem in NO.1 cold rolling plant.By improving the control method and increasing the control means,it is very important to improve the control precision of the product thickness,increase the finished product rate,reduce the energy consumption,stabilize the operation of the mill,and improve the quality control of the tandem in No.1 cold rolling plant.So that the tandem with a certain degree of flexible production capacity,It is very important for practical significance.Out of service running mode means there is a certain stand that does not work,from the original five stands rolling into four stands rolling.In this dissertation,the AGC control system is designed and constructed based on the Smith predictor,and the control parameters are determined.Secondly,the causes of the thickness fluctuation are analyzed,especially the thickness fluctuation caused by the eccentricity of the rolls is mainly studied.And the roll eccentricity compensation system of the whole stands is established.At the same time,the problems existing in the advanced mass flow control mode are analyzed and the improvement scheme is put forward.By adjusting the installation position of the thickness gauge in the stands,AGC control functions of the 3rd and 4th stands are added.The laser speed measurement and the new encoder that is installed on the tension roller realize to calculate the actual value of the forward slip accurately by measuring the strip speed,and optimize the forward slip model by adopting the adaptive algorithm.Finally,the hardware and software system are designed,the programming and commissioning for out of service running mode are finished.The thickness curve is recorded by the online PDA system,and the effect of the comprehensive improvement of AGC control is evaluated.It is proved that the rolling control technology that ensures the thickness accuracy is effective during running in the out of service mode.
