In the production process of electrolytic aluminum,the crust breaker cylinder system is an indispensable equipment.Its stability directly affects the production efficiency of electrolytic aluminum.The traditional crust breaker cylinder system commonly uses the solenoid valve to control the working mode.However,due to the high temperature and strong magnetic environment,the stability of crust breaker cylinder system is seriously affected by the failure of the solenoid valve.In addition,because of the sealing problems during the periodic operation of the system,a problem of compressed air leakage is existing.Regarding the issues above,a new type of energy saving crust breaker cylinder system for electrolytic cell is designed to improve its stability in high temperature and strong magnetic environment and reduce the consumption of compressed air as well.The main contents of this thesis are listed as bellow:1.In order to improve the stability of the system,a pneumatic valve is used to control the switch of working modes instead of the solenoid valve,which can reduce the use of solenoid valve in high temperature,strong magnetic environment.2.The pneumatic control branch is designed for the pneumatic valve to meet the switching requirements in the different working modes of the crust breaker cylinder system.The reliable control strategy is selected to ensure the pneumatic valve reverses fast and stably.3.The energy saving circuit is added to the system to reduce the consumption of compressed air in awaiting time,which will reduce the air consumption of the entire cycle.4.The matching pneumatic bearing system and multi-channel data acquisition system are designed to make the test environment of the crust breaker cylinder system more in line with the practice,and collect the data of different parts in testing.According to the foregoing,the test platform is established to complete the stability,energy efficiency and output characteristics test of the system.The test results show that the design of this new type of energy saving crust breaker cylinder system for electrolytic cell achieves the desired goals and has goodstability,energy saving and output characteristics.Above all,this method has an important promotion application value.
