Evaluation Of Ecological Environment Quality Of Nanchang Based On Remote Sensing Based Ecological Index

The ecological environment provides natural resources,space environment and basic material conditions for human.It is the basic guarantee of human existence and the material basis for the development of society.Therefore,the ecological environment quality is closely related to human life.How to quantify the ecological environment quality and development trend,scientifically evaluate the quality of ecological environment,has gradually become one of the hot topics of the current research.This paper takes Nanchang city of Jiangxi Province as the research object,which researches Landsat satellite images of 2000,2005,2009 and 2014,using ENVI5.1 as the remote sensing data processing platform,giving an analysis of ecological environment quality of Nanchang city during 2000-2014 by RSEI and taking an exploration and attempt to evaluate the quality of ecological environment.In this paper,the RSEI index were 0.622,0.695,0.557 and 0.678 respectively through the processing and analysis of the four-stage Landsat image data of Nanchang.The results show that the eco-environmental quality of Nanchang has risen and then rises again from 2000 to 2014 and 14 years,and the ecological environment quality is developing in a good way.In order to understand the ecological and environmental quality of the districts better,this paper takes the districts and counties as the research units,and classifies and compares the RSEI index values of the districts and counties.The results show that the ecological environment quality of Wanli and Anyi has been in a good state,ranked 1 and 2 of the districts and counties in Nanchang;As the old city of Nanchang(West Lake District and East Lake District),the ecological environment has been in a relatively poor state,overall ranked 8 and 9,but with the expansion of city,the improvement of environmental awareness and the transformation of the old city,the ecological environmental quality has also been improved.According to the changes of RSEI index in each district of Nanchang from 2000 to 2014,the ecological environment of all districts and counties in Nanchang has been improved,and the quality of ecological environment keeps a good state.Although the Nanchang City has been focused on ecological protection and restoration work,also achieved some success,the trend of environmental pollution is still not optimistic,the ecological environment has some problems.Therefore,the city needs to be further improved in the ecological environment construction and protection work.
