In this study,we attempt to develop a new method for the sewage treatment ceramsite filler with the water plant sludge as the main raw material,and the fly ash as the auxiliary material,and the water glass as the additive.The water plant sludge particle filler with high roughness and microporous structure is obtained and applied in the case of the constructed wetland test,BAF test,and the undercurrent of constructed wetland project.In these cases,we explore the removal rate of COD,NH3-N,TN and TP in polluted water.The optimum proportion and the temperature of the water plant sludge were determined by orthogonal test and single factor test of influences of properties in the water plant sludge.The water plant sludge: fly ash = 90:10,The amount of water glass is10%,and the temperature is 1050?.With the tests of ceramsite absorption rate?ceramsite apparent?ceramsite packing density?properties of crystal structure,we draw a conclusion that the water plant sludge particles have the advantage of high voidage?high strength?surface roughness and so on.It is in favour of contact between microbial and the water plant sludge particles.Based on the test of dealing with rural sewage by applying the water plant sludge particles in tidal flow constructed wetland,the results show that remove rate of NH3-N was R-12 > R-18 > R-6 > R-3 at different times in tidal flow constructed wetland.The removal rate of NH3-N was 72.1±7.46% in tidal flow constructed wetland,it was better than any other reaction time.The total trend in the removal rate of TN was similar with that of TP.With the reaction time longer,the tendency was increased at first and then decreased,the maximum value was at R-12,the maximum removal rate was 61.01±6.75% and 69.77±9.24% respectively.Based on the test of dealing with micro-polluted river water by using the water plant sludge particles in BAF,the results show that the water plant sludge has good removal for the dissolved organic matter at the start-up initial stage,the removal rateof COD was about 80%;On the 26 th day,the removal rate of NH3-N was over 90%;The average concentration of water of TN was 10.66mg/L,the average removal rate was 37.7%,the highest removal rate was 47.8%.The best technological conditions for BAF treatment by the water plant sludge were: the media height= 80cm?the ratio of gas and water=5:1?HRT=12h,the average removal rate was 96.32%.In order to investigate the application effect of water plant sludge particles in engineering examples,the water plant sludge particles were used as submerged flow wetland matrix fillers and placed in a "no power pool-submerged constructed wetland-oxidation pond" combination technology developed by a research institute.The combination technology in rural sewage treatment shows that the removal rate of COD was 70.54%,the removal rate of NH3-N was 96.12%,the removal rate of TN was 91.23%,and the removal rate of TP was 93.25%,the final combination technology water quality meet the discharge standard.Tangba wetland near natural treatment combination technology is stable,the treatment effect is good,but also to achieve the reduction of water supply sludge,resource and harmless disposal.
