3D printing technology has been being applied to the field of manufacturing after the development in recent years,based on the theory of Additive Manufacturing,3D printing technology has broken a number of restrictions of traditional manufacturing technology,and has incomparable advantage to the traditional manufacturing technology method in complex parts,rapid mold making,innovation design,especially in the mold development and rapid tooling has been widely applied.As one of the most basic 3D printing technology,fused deposition modeling technology has been widely used;FDM technology can quickly and accurately transform the three-dimensional geometric model into a prototype part with a certain function.This paper is based on the FDM technology,and the low melting point metal material is used as the printing material to produce a low melting point metal teeth model with certain precision that can be used for investment casting.And focus on the printing method of low melting point metal material,stress analysis of forming process of wires,the distribution of temperature field of nozzle,the pressure distribution of nozzle,low melting point metal teeth preparation scheme and model forming quality are analyzed and studied.Firstly,this paper makes a theoretical analysis on the feed wire and extruded wire process of the FDM technology,based on that the force of the printing process of wire is analyzed,and obtain the mathematical model of feed force and extrusion resistance.At the same time,analyzes the influence mechanism of the temperature on the stress of the wire,and obtain the mathematical model of feed force and extrusion resistance under the influence of the temperature field.By ANSYS Workbench to analyze the distribution of the temperature field of the nozzle during the printing process and the pressure distribution from the nozzle,and get the specific feed force and extrusion resistance.Based on the correlation analysis and calculation,the method of set up the printing temperature of low melting point metal material is obtained.Secondly,this paper mainly analyzes the format conversion error on geometric model,the errors caused by layering process,the errors of molding system,the errors caused by thermal shrinkage of material,the errors caused by spray part and the postprocessing of formation mechanism and the related calculation.And put forward by reducing the STL height and layer thickness,low shrinkage wire,reasonable selection of nozzle temperature and reasonable matching extrusion speed and filling speed to improve the forming quality of teeth model.Finally,this paper analyzes the key parameters setting scheme in the print process,mainly including layer thickness setting,printing temperature setting,extrusion speed and filling speed setting and contour compensation setting and so on.By the three-dimensional design software to set up the tooth model,and finally,using the low melting point metal wire as the printing material,and by FDM forming technology obtains the low melting point metal tooth model,and the forming quality of different printing temperature and layer thickness are compared and evaluated.
