The flotation tail ash content is very important in the process of coal slurry flotation,the controlled variables to realize the online detection will promote the development of floatation process control.In recent years,machine vision detection technology is becoming more and more popular as a safe,fast,stable and economical method.But different coal flotation tail had different apparent feature because the composition of different coal are not identical.It is not good for the extension of the technology of machine vision measure.In view of this,this paper research the influence of the tail coal composition,ash content and concentration.This paper use the sample made in laboratory.This paper use the coal from Tangkou and Xuehu which are prepared by using basic ash samples of raw coal whose density fraction is-1.4 g/cm3 and +1.8 g/cm3.This paper research the mineral and elements composition and of the coal samples by XRD and XRF.This paper research the experimental coal sample surface morphology by EDS and SEM.And Analysis the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the surface elements by BSE.This paper identified 5 kinds of mineral includes quartz,kaolinite,dolomite,pyrite and limonite combined with the test requirements.And using XRD test the composition of minerals,used to determine the purity of minerals.We must set a fixed test conditions to reduce the error and guarantee the accuracy of the test source data because the image acquisition condition influences the image gray characteristic value of the sample.The study of the influence of various factors on the experiment rule show that the light irradiation,slurry flow velocity,the intensity of light source,industrial camera aperture size and location of image acquisition factors had a great influence on image characteristic value.And then combined with the apparent property of the test sample to determine the best test condition.In order to study the relationship between these factors and image characteristic value,analysis the connection between Mean,Kurtosis,Entropy,Energy,Variance,Skewness and image characteristic value.The result show that the Mean has the greatest impact.Analysis the relationship between image characteristic value and concentration,ash content,mineral composition in certain test conditions.The result show that the tail coal image grey value with the increase of concentration and ash content,and different mineral tail coal has different image grey value.In order to study the interaction between different factors and the influence significance,design the Box-Behnken response surface experiments to analysis the relationship between image gray characteristic value and various factors.The model shows that the biggest influence factor is the ash content and mineral composition,concentration has a certain influence on image gray characteristic value.The ash content and mineral composition,concentration and mineral composition have interaction effect on image grey value.
