This paper aimed at the current situation of the high temperature and humidity setting of weaving workshop,Study on the influence of weaving workshop temperature and humidity on sizing property.(1)The increase in relative humidity can improve and enhance the degree of the length of the long chain molecules,which makes the fiber strength increased,but the high relative humidity will make the strength of the fiber has decreased.Therefore,reasonable control of temperature and humidity in the workshop weaving in a certain range,can improve the weaving performance of sizing in a certain extent.(2)High temperature and relative humidity in the weaving workshop will affect the health of the workers.Workers are not conducive to the normal work of workers,and makes the work efficiency is very low.So,reasonable control of the temperature and humidity in the weaving workshop can improve the working environment in the workshop,which is beneficial to the health of the workers in the workshop and the production efficiency of the weaving.(3)High relative humidity is extremely unfavorable to the maintenance of equipment,easy to speed up the aging of machinery and equipment.Therefore,reasonable adjustment of the temperature and humidity of the workshop in a certain range,can greatly extend the working life of the machine.This paper makes a study on the regularity of cotton sizing properties at different temperatures(22 ℃,25 ℃,28 ℃),relative humidity(60%,65%,70%,74%,78%),sizing formulas(PVA with modified starch sizing formula,pure modified starch sizing formula),yarn fineness(14.6te,9.7tex,7.3tex),and the specific and research results are as follows:(1)For the 14.6tex containing PVA of cotton sizing,when the temperature is 25℃,relative humidity is 65%,moisture regain is 7.51% can make the sizing has better performance.(2)For the 14.6tex pure modified starch of cotton sizing,when the temperature is 25℃,relative humidity is 74%,moisture regain is 9.77% can make the sizing has better performance.(3)For the 9.7tex containing PVA of cotton sizing,when the temperature is 28 ℃,relative humidity is 60%,moisture regain is 6.73% can make the sizing has better performance.(4)For the 9.7tex pure modified starch of cotton sizing,when the temperature is 25℃,relative humidity is 70%,moisture regain is 8.24% can make the sizing has better performance.(5)For the 7.3tex containing PVA of cotton sizing,when the temperature is 25 ℃,relative humidity is 65%,moisture regain is 7.24% can make the sizing has better performance.(6)For the 7.3tex pure modified starch of cotton sizing,when the temperature is 25℃,relative humidity is 70%,moisture regain is 7.77% can make the sizing has better performance.Research results show that,for the PVA with modified starch sizing formula,when the temperature of weaving workshop is higher(25 ℃-28℃),moisture regain is 6.5%-7.5%conditions of low relative humidity(65%)has good sizing properties.So,low relative humidity can be used in weaving.For the pure modified starch sizing formula,when the temperature of weaving workshop is lower(22 ℃-25 ℃),conditions of high relative humidity(≥70%),moisture regain is 7.5%-9.5% has good sizing properties.The results of this study are well explained,when the rainy days(low temperature,high humidity)are encountered in the weaving process,the weaving efficiency is obviously improved.This is because the starch slurry containing glucose more radical ring structure and hydroxyl group,so the formation of the film hard,brittle,poor performance of the resistance,elongation of small.When the relative humidity is high,sizing from the air after moisture increased the plastic starch,improve the sizing performance.Reasonable setting of the temperature and humidity of the weaving workshop is not only beneficial to improve the weaving efficiency,but also can effectively improve the environment of the weaving workshop.
