The moisture adsorption and liberation property of sized yarn is an important characteristic of sizing quality and weaving processing. The change of environmental temperature and humidity of the weaving workshop influences the moisture adsorption and liberation property of sizing directly. In order to meet the normal production of textile technology, textile enterprises usually set the relative humidity is 74~80% and the temperature is 28~30 of weaving workshop. But from the theory of human body heat and moisture comfort, such high temperature and humidity seriously affect the health of workers, reduce the efficiency of workers, At the same time, the higher relative humidity is not conducive to the maintenance of equipment, it also increases the air conditioning load,is not conducive to energy-saving emission reduction. So it is very important to finish yarn weaving under low humidity conditions. Study on moisture absorption and liberation regularities of sizing and the influence of sizing moisture regain on physical properties are based on yarn weaving under low humidity conditions. Moisture absorption and liberation regularities of textile sizes and sizing are researched, and the weaving mechanism of high humidity in textile enterprises is analyzed, which lay a theoretical foundation for achieving the weaving mechanism of low humidity. Specific research contents are as follows:( 1) The oven drying method was used to analysis the moisture absorption and liberation regularities of starch size, PVA and Polyacrylic acid sizes, the differences of moisture absorption regularities among the sizes were also analyzed in light of their structures; relationship of the final moisture absorption regains and liberation on films are researched there exist absorption hysteresis. According to the correlation fitting theory, the absorption and liberation equations of textile sizes and the relationship between relative humidity and moisture regain were deduced.( 2) Moisture absorption and liberation regularities of three kinds of typical size formulas suitable for warp JC9.7tex at different relative humidity conditions. The influences of the alcoholics degree of PVA, polyacrylic acid size, glycerol for the moisture absorption, liberation regularities of textile size film were studied. The results show that PVA has better properties at low humidity; textile size film based on starch size has better properties at high moisture regain; polyacrylic acid size has strong sensitivity to humidity and film shows good performance at the higher moisture regain.(3)From the theory to calculate the warp can be moisture absorption and liberation humidity time in a loom, based on testing the moisture absorption and liberation rate of typical variety sizing JC9.7tex?JC5.8tex and JC14.6tex under different relative humidity.The experimental results show that moisture regain of any sizing completes from zero to balance needs about one hour, so should be according to the running time of warp in a loom, combined with the requirements of different sizing properties to set moisture regain of sizing machine reasonably.(4)The absorption and liberation balance moisture of sized yarns at different relative humidity conditions were researched. The results show that sizing has different absorption balance moisture at different relative humidity; the absorption and liberation balance moisture of sizing are different at the same relative humidity, there exist absorption hysteresis.(5)The relationship between moisture regain and property of typical variety sizing JC9.7tex?JC5.8tex and JC14.6tex were studied, The results show that, for the use of PVA and starch sizing formula, sizing abrasion resistance is good when relative humidity is 60%and sizing moisture balance regain rate is about 6.5%; for pure modified starch slurry formulation, sizing abrasion resistance is good when relative humidity is 65% and sizing moisture balance regain rate is 7.8%; for containing acrylic acid size, sizing abrasion resistance is good when relative humidity is 70~74% and sizing moisture balance regain rate is more than 8.3%.(6)At cooperative unit of this topic, the MJC60×JC60 200×90 120?satin varieties were weaving at low humidity conditions, the production practices show that low humidity can achieve higher weaving efficiency.The results of the above studies indicate that it is possible to realize weaving at the low humidity that slurry of the PVA and the modified starch are suitable.
