Along with the development of metallurgical industry product market competition,cost increase,performance and quality as well as end users of special wire requirements continue to increase,the high speed wire rod production line quality of finished area is more and more strict control,especially in the tail ring clamp control wire roll in the heap and finished steel,traditional control not only is not stable,there is great difficulty in dealing with problems traceability.This paper mainly expounds the domestic and imported high speed wire production line feeding machine front clip production process feed roller and control principle,through the study found: control causes chaos tail ring type process is mainly reducing sizing mill,pinch roll,spinning machine of three line speed does not match.Using DTC ABB ACS800 inverter direct torque control technology,to achieve the three tension balance matching to achieve line speed;through zero,back to the basic positioning of SIEMENS S120 servo controller software package program step and other functions,to achieve control and position control of the pinch roll clamping speed,avoid the pile of steel the.PLC control,optimization of the head tracking program,and through the program automatic memory tail speed,avoid throwing steel,the tail ring type wire tension caused by the sudden loss of disorder problems,improve the tail acceleration and deceleration time,improve the stability of the system.According to the problems in the daily production process,the control program is continuously optimized and improved,and the control function of the pinch roll is improved.Practice has proved that the intelligent pinch roll control system based on S120 and DTC control technology plays a very important role in improving the quality of the tail ring type of the wire rod and reducing the piling steel.At the same time increase the PC application two WINCC operation screen and IBA process of the data acquisition system,which makes the operators more convenient clip on setting roll advance speed,clamping pressure,tension control parameters,the control effect of the setting of the parameters can effectively analyze the collection and comparison of data,the yield of the product increase at the same time,also will bring certain economic benefits.
