Aluminum electrolysis has been the only method of producing metallic aluminum in industrial production.Aluminum electrolysis plant is most concerned about the issue of energy saving,emission reduction and extend the life of the cell.The most important ways to achieve energy savings and emissions reductions are to reduce the number of failures and ensure the health of the aluminum reduction cell.The data shows that the anode current distribution of the aluminum reduction cell is one of the important indications for the health of the working state of the aluminum reduction cell.The traditional fork measurement accuracy is not high and the data is not synchronized,so the application is not ideal.The factory set up a wireless network to detect the anode current distribution can improve the real-time performance of the data,reduce the safety risk of electrolysis workers and reduce the cost,making the detection of anode current distribution more convenient and accurate.This paper designs a anode current distribution detection system for aluminum cells based on ZigBee.For a cell,a large number of anode rods(about 24-40)will make the number of sensors is more,so the design of the wireless network system is a SOC solution.The main control chip CC2530 and the temperature sensor DS18B20 form a sensor node,which has the characteristics of low cost,small power consumption and good stability.Software programming using IAR integrated development environment,the software design is divided into three parts,the sensor node data acquisition program,coordinator network programming,PC interface programming,in addition to some of the necessary serial communication procedures.After the coordinator establishes the network,the sensor nodes join the network.First,the sensor node captures temperature and voltage data and sends the data to the coordinator through the ZigBee protocol.The coordinator then processes the data and sends the processed data to the host computer.The host computer will display the data in real time on the interface.Electrolysis workers can query current distribution data in real time.In addition,PC software provides real-time data export and save functions,to facilitate researchers to analyze historical data.ZigBee wireless communication technology with short distance,low power consumption,low cost,low transmission rate characteristics,is very suitable for the working environment of the aluminum electrolysis plant.ZigBee wireless communication technology is very suitable for the characteristics of the working environment of the aluminum electrolysis plant.Using ZigBee to detect the anode rod current distribution in the aluminum cell can automate the detection system.The automation of the detection system makes it possible to extend the life of the cell,to ensure safe production and to adjust the aluminum cell in time.This technique has strong practicality and application prospects.
