In the case of wet natural gas mixing pipe,in the process of transportation, along with the changes of the topography, pipe temperature and pressure,it will be in the bottom of the inclined pipeline to form a liquid. The formation of the fluid in the inclined pipe will seriously affect the pipeline transportation capacity and safe operation. The most important way to remove the liquid accumulation from the inclined pipe is to increase the inlet speed of the gas.In order to make the gas transmission pipeline can be more safe and efficient operation,it is significant to study the critical state and critical flow velocity of the fluid at the bottom of the inclined pipeline.Wet gas liquid accumulation of the inclined tube by Fluent software flows are numerically simulated, respectively to observe the inclined tube fluid movement, the liquid accumulation is spread out in the inclined pipe, the distribution of velocity field in a critical state, the critical liquid holdup, etc.;At the same time, the effects of different pipe diameters, different inclinations, different liquid accumulation quantity and viscous viscosity on critical velocity were studied and analyzed. It is found that in the critical state, the liquid accumulation in the inclined tube is almost completely spread out on the updip section, but the thickness of the liquid layer is not uniform thickness,it is relatively thin on both sides. In the critical state, the morphology of the gas-liquid two-phase interface is kept in a horizontal shape, which is consistent with the FLAT model. In the critical state, the liquid holdup is kept constant. The change of the critical pressure gradient is not directly related to the amount of liquid accumulation, and the critical pressure gradient will increase with the increase of the inclination Angle. The critical velocity increases with the increase of the tilt Angle, and it increases with the increase of liquid quantity, and increases with the increase of the pipe diameter, and increases with the increase of the liquid viscosity. The results of this study have a certain significance to prevent the formation of the accumulated liquid in the inclined pipe, which provides a theoretical basis for the construction and design of the wet natural gas pipeline.
